Roped In Access were engaged to carry out sign repairs via rope access recently in Chatswood, we removed the banner to then allow us to remove the fixed panels and access the deteriorated steel structure behind.

We then removed the damaged steel horizontal members, grinded back the vertical members and painted with galvanised paint to prevent the rust returning. All the steel horizontal beams were then replaced and lifted into place. All lifting works were supported by Botany Cranes and our rope access dogman/riggers. Once we finished all the rectification works we carried out the sign installation.

Even though the weather wasn’t optimum for these works we utilised or skill and experience to ensure that we got the works completed on time and incident free.
